Human Trafficking and Disability: Awareness

Human trafficking is an enormous problem in the state of Ohio, especially for people with developmental disabilities.  The Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities has collaborated with the Center for Disability Empowerment to create a series of short videos (less than 1:30 each) that explain what it means to be trafficked for labor or sex.  They also share common signs of human trafficking.  Watch these brief segments now on the Department's YouTube channel, and learn how to spot human trafficking: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9z5IGPMN9pM&feature=youtu.be&list=PLZ1qXvA8kYSlNo4MySNZRmSnhPSa3l9Y2
