The Art & Soul Exhibit is open to all Ohio artists with developmental disabilities. Forty-five entries will be selected from submissions to take part in a two week exhibit, beginning with the Opening Reception, held on Saturday, April 22.
Entry forms are available at ArtandSoul@ti-inc.org. Entries can be submitted now through February 1, 2017. Best of Show winner will receive $500, with other cash awards for top ten entries. All artists will have the opportunity to sell their artwork.
Art & Soul is coordinated by Partners for Community Living and Toward Independence and is sponsored by the Montgomery, Butler, Hamilton and Greene County Boards of Developmental Disabilities.

S.A.L.T. sessions have been designed to help students between the ages of 14-22 with developmental disabilities overcome barriers to employment while providing informational presentations to help individuals and their families navigate the transition from school to adult life.
The feature this month will be focusing on the overview of Developmental Disabilities Services (DDS) and Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities (OOD).

URS will hold a Childcare Open House Thursday, January 26 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at its 4710 Old Troy Pike location in Dayton. Attendees can learn more about URS's Childcare Program that serve children ages 6 weeks to 17 years, with or without disabilities. Visitors can also tour its Infant Care Center, Toddler and Preschool Programs, and School-Age and Latchkey Programs, and meet teachers and families.
Families can also learn about URS's on-site nursing services for medically fragile children and specialized therapy services including physical, occupational and speech therapies.
URS is 5-Star Rated in Ohio's Step Up to Quality program.
