The Art & Soul Exhibit is open to all Ohio artists with developmental disabilities. Forty-five entries will be selected from submissions to take part in a two week exhibit, beginning with the Opening Reception, held on Saturday, April 22.
Entry forms are available at ArtandSoul@ti-inc.org. Entries can be submitted now through February 1, 2017. Best of Show winner will receive $500, with other cash awards for top ten entries. All artists will have the opportunity to sell their artwork.
Art & Soul is coordinated by Partners for Community Living and Toward Independence and is sponsored by the Montgomery, Butler, Hamilton and Greene County Boards of Developmental Disabilities.

On His Wings, a new provider of day services for individuals with developmental disabilities, will hold an Open House on Wednesday, January 11 and Thursday, January 12 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at its One Elizabeth Place location.
On His Wings' facility can be identified from Edwin C. Moses Drive by the blue and white flags.

For those interested in attending, you will receive valuable information about the Project SEARCH program and you will also have the opportunity to meet the current group of interns and ask questions. Tours will not be available on this evening. Reservations are not required. Project SEARCH is an internship program for individuals with developmental disabilities to become fully immersed in the workforce at Miami Valley Hospital South. Upon completion of the program, Project SEARCH interns are transitioned into competitive employment opportunities throughout the community. Students interested in applying for an internship must have met all their high school credits, deferred their diploma, be between the ages of 18-21, and want to work. This program is a collaboration between Miami Valley Hospital South, Miami Valley Career Technology Center, Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities, and the Montgomery County Board of Developmental Disabilities Services.
