The Montgomery County Board of Developmental Disabilities Services recently launched a new
Provider Evaluation Tool to help families compare the services and programs offered by private provider agencies. This two-page tool, which is offered in
spreadsheet form was assembled with input from providers and lists agencies in alphabetical order.
This
spreadsheet covers a wide variety of categories, including art, autism, career discovery, fitness, high behavioral needs, incontinence, job coaching, job exploration, job placement, meals (for a fee or included, full assistance or partial assistance), mental health services, nursing (consultation and on-site), p.m. shift programs, recreation, social, supported employment, enclave-based employment, technology training, transportation (standard and specialized), volunteerism, and wheelchair accessibility.
The tool will be updated on a regular basis, and questions about it can be directed to Mitch Snyder via
email or
937-559-0899.
