The Montgomery County Board of Developmental Disabilities Services (MCBDDS) is the first County Board of DD in the 88 counties in Ohio to provide specialized Mental Health services to individuals with developmental disabilities. Our mission is to provide mental health services that are sensitive to the unique needs of individuals deemed eligible to receive County Board services.
The development of our program was a collaborative effort between
the Montgomery County Board of Developmental Disabilities Services,
the Alcohol, Drug and Mental Health Services Board of Montgomery County, and
the Wright State University School of Medicine Department of Psychiatry.
Mental Health services are provided by licensed social workers and counselors, psychiatrists, and a registered nurse. Our therapists are mobile and able to meet with individuals where they feel most comfortable.
