You may have heard about Remote Monitoring and Support, but do you know how it can benefit you or your loved one? Remote Support, also known as Remote Monitoring, is an emerging service that combines technology and direct care to support people with developmental disabilities. It uses two-way communication in real time, including home-based sensors, cameras and other technologies, to provide a less invasive means of monitoring and responding to the needs of individuals living in the community.

The Montgomery County Board of Developmental Disabilities will host a Remote Monitoring Provider Fair to allow individuals, families and guardians who are interested in learning more about these services Thursday, September 20, 2018 from 3 to 6 p.m. at Goodwill Industries, 660 S. Main Street, Dayton, 45402.
