  1. Ohio Transportation Equity Forum: 2018

    A free, one-day Ohio Transportation Equity Forum will be held on Tuesday, October 23, 9:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Learn about and discuss transportation issues impacting the lives of people with disabilities and older adults. Access to affordable and safe transportation options is key to creating and maintaining communities that are accessible to all citizens. Hear about innovative practices, creative solutions and potential strategies to address transportation barriers. Presenters from the United States Department of Justice, Ohio Department of Transportation, Centers for Independent Living, and many more will be in attendance.   3. Coping with Grief Support Group for Individuals

    October 25, 2018, 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM @ Southview Center

    The Montgomery County Board of Developmental Disabilities Services' Mental Health Supports and Services Program will host a Coping with Grief Group every Thursday at Southview Center, 25 Thorpe Dr., Dayton, 45429 in Room 61. This is an ongoing program available to any individual receiving services who has experienced grief and loss, such as an injury or disability, loss of a loved one or pet, job loss, or change or transition.     MCBDDS is sponsoring a Provider Fair on Monday, October 29, for individuals who currently receive--or are eligible to receive--MCBDDS services. The event will be held from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Goodwill Easter Seals, 660 S. Main St., Dayton, 45402. Attendees can meet agencies that provide Day Programming, as well as Residential, Transportation and Employment Services. Come learn about the different programs and options available. Questions?
