    Spring Fling Dance for adults with developmental disabilities, Wednesday, May 22 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., 2012 Springboro West Rd, Dayton, 45439. Enjoy dancing and refreshments. Individuals needing assistance should come with a support person, as direct care staff will not be provided at this event.

  2. OPRA Development & Training Series: ISP/CPT/MRC Training ~ How to be an Effective Member of an ISP Meeting - Part 2 of 4

    OPRA is offering a four-part training course designed to provide agencies with the understanding and tools necessary to be an active and productive participant in the ISP process. This is an intensive 16-hour training designed to give you the knowledge and confidence to be successful. Part 2 includes an overview of how waivers are funded; understanding the CPT and MRC; an in-depth review of On-site/On-call and the administrative rule language that governs its application; and rule and process review of the behavior, medical and complex care add-ons, as well as how and why these determinations are critical to the success in your organization's mission/goals, and how they impact your ability to recruit, train and retain quality DSP's.

  3. Adult Day Support/Vocational Habilitation Training

    May 30, 2019, 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM @ LADD's Center for Community Engagement

    The Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities states that Adult Day Support and Vocational Habilitation waiver providers must take 8 hours of Adult Day Support and/or Vocational Habilitation training in addition to the 8 hour initial and annual provider certification training. Class content meets both initial staff training and annual renewal training requirements of Adult Day Support and Vocational Habilitation staff. This training does not apply to Independent Providers.
