  1. PACE Touch-a-Truck Event

    October 11, 2019, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM @ Southview Center

    The Montgomery County Board of Developmental Disabilities Services' Parent and Child Enrichment program will host a "Touch-a-Truck" event Friday, October 11 to allow children who receive Board services to see and touch the cards and trucks we see in and around our community. Kids will get to meet drivers and service workers, and special visitors from Paw Patrol will be onsite. A light lunch will be provided to those who RSVP by Wednesday, October 9. Indoor and outdoor play areas will also be open to families. See RSVP details at right (or below, if viewing on mobile device).

  2. MCBDDS Halloween Carnival

    October 11, 2019, 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM @ Northview Center

    Two days of family-friendly fun await at MCBDDS's annual Halloween Carnival, Friday, October 11 from 5 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, October 12 from 2 to 8 p.m.  Individuals, their friends and families can enjoy a wide variety of carnival games as well as activities including a costume contest and parade, a cake walk, a photo booth, bounce house, face painting and raffle baskets. Game tickets will be $0.25 each, and games require 1 to 3 tickets.  Food will also be sold, including hot dogs, pizza, cotton candy, slushies, soft pretzels and more. Please note:  The Carnival is open to anyone that wishes to attend, and the MCBDDS Recreation program will NOT be providing supervision during this activity.  Individuals who require assistance will need to bring provider support. This activity is open to the public, and photographers may be present. If you do not wish to be photographed, please let a MCBDDS staff member know.
