On Tuesday, October 20, and Wednesday, October 21, the Office of Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost will present a two-day virtual training for people served, law enforcement, first responders, and county board investigatory staff on methods for supporting crime victims with developmental disabilities. The event is presented in collaboration with OACB and The Arc of Ohio. Topics will include recognizing and preventing crimes against people with developmental disabilities, forensic interviewing, methods for interacting with people who have communications disabilities, and trauma-informed approaches to law enforcement and investigations.
