The Montgomery County Board of Developmental Disabilities is the appointing authority for two nonprofit entities that support the mission and philosophy of the Board. These include:
- Brighter Tomorrow Foundation: Receives donations, gifts, devices of cash, personal property or real property from private citizens and or organizations, and awards grants to support the Board's mission
- Inclusive Neighborhoods Housing Corporation: A housing corporation which develops safe, affordable, and accessible housing for individuals with disabilities.
