Individuals seeking adult day services, employment services and transportation from private providers can secure information about those providers in a number of ways:
All provider information is gathered directly from individual provider agencies, and is updated as we receive information.
- Provider Profiles: MCBDDS has compiled a Provider Profiles document containing information about day service, employment and transportation providers serving Montgomery County. Information contained in the document was submitted by each provider.
- Provider Evaluation Tool: MCBDDS created a Provider Evaluation Tool to help families compare and evaluate the services and programming offered by provider agencies serving Montgomery County. This two-page tool, presented in spreadsheet form, was assembled with input from providers and lists agencies in alphabetical order. The spreadsheet covers a wide variety of including art, autism, career discovery, fitness, high behavioral needs, incontinence, job coaching, job exploration, job placement, meals (for a fee or included, full assistance or partial assistance), mental health services, nursing (consultation and on-site), p.m. shift programs, recreation, social, supported employment, enclave-based employment, technology training, transportation (standard and specialized), volunteerism, and wheelchair accessibility.
- Provider Location Map: MCBDDS has created an interactive Google map showing the locations of all providers serving Montgomery County.
- Provider Search Tool: The Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities maintains an online Provider Search Tool that helps families find private sources of day services, transportation, homemaker personal care and housing services.
